Built more like a bouncer than a bowler, his left-arm spin proved an enormous asset to Bermuda – both in terms of his wicket-taking potential and the containment he offered. On Bermuda’s Intercontinental Cup debut in USA he took 7 for 57 in a losing cause. A year later he grabbed 11 for 72 in the same competition against the Cayman Islands. He was just as much an asset in the one-day game, He played a key role in Bermuda qualifying for the 2007 World Cup by taking 4 for 39 against the USA and 3 for 34 against the USA in the 2005 ICC Trophy. He acquired cult status, and his remarkable one-handed diving catch against India, and the seismograph-breaking celebratory run which followed, delighted picture editors across the globe.

Craig White
Mexico Cricket Federation
We at Mexico Cricket have been extremely fortunate to have counted on the dedication, passion and tireless energy of Craig since he joined our then Association in 2017. His huge input during that year alone earned him the award of ICC Volunteer of the Year (presented at ICC AGM 2018). Since joining, he has been instrumental in driving most of the behind the scenes tasks that some might be reluctant to do once let alone every week or month, for years on end. Craig comes from a process driven NGO background and was able to bring his particular skillset to our organisation and take on a whole raft of responsibilities without a word of complaint. Without a doubt, Mexico Cricket would not be in the enviable position we are today, having procedures and protocols in place that ensure we as a Federation are transparent, scalable, legal and compliant in everything we do. This has importance not only in the eyes of players and their families but also the government with whom we are working ever more closely on a local and national level as we roll out public programs ranging from university clinics, cricket for good in Mexico´s prison system, and new areas such as disability cricket, as well as help coordinate our local and national leagues.
Craig is also a published writer and historian and is working on the second volume on Mexico Cricket. His organisation skills are being sought by others outside Mexico Cricket and we are very keen to retain his skills for as long as possible. A cricket legend in our eyes, but also a good friend and much loved and respected colleague.

TONY FERGUSON
Mexico Cricket Federation
When summer arrived I used go from a young age with
my father ( a crack player )to watch him and the team in
all the First Class games and with time get to know some
of the fascinating characters that he played with .
However an important event occurred when I was maybe
around 10 years old . Kenneth Henderson , a neighbor of
our family and very good friend of my fathers, chose to
buy me a cricket bat when in England for beginners , The
Top Scorer , this was where it all really started.
I was never ever able to thank Kenneth for this as he
became very ill at the time and passed away shortly
after. However every time I think of his kindness and how
I enjoyed playing with that bat , at the Belgrano Athletic
Club and at home in the terrace , I can never ever thank
him enough for hooking me to the finest sport that
shaped my life.
